You choose a campervan window in five steps: opening type, tint, glazing, size and what comes in the box. Each step depends on where the window goes and how you travel, so sketch your layout (bed, kitchen, storage) before you pick anything.
- Opening type: push-out for airflow, sliding where the pane must stay flush with the body.
- Tint: dark (30% light transmission) for privacy, light grey (70%) for a bright interior.
- Glazing: double acrylic glazing for less cold and less condensation.
- Size: the largest cut-out that fits between the ribs of your panel.
- Equipment: blind, mosquito net, counter-frame and ECE R43 approval included.

What types of campervan window are there?
There are three families of opening side window for a conversion: push-out, sliding and curved push-out. Fixed and bonded windows also exist, but they do not open, so they add light without ventilation.

Which EuroVan window suits your build?
The right model comes down to tint, corner shape and the sizes you need. All EuroVan models except the single-glazed VanSlide have double acrylic glazing, and all fit wall thicknesses from 25 to 75 mm.

The VanCurve follows the rounding of a panel van side wall with a 5000 mm radius, so it looks factory-fitted. It is made for vans only, not for the flat walls of a motorhome or caravan.
Why is a push-out window the best all-round choice?
A push-out window is the best all-round choice because the whole pane opens and the tilted pane keeps light rain out. That makes it ideal in the living area, above the kitchen to clear cooking steam, and in the rear doors for air at night.
EuroVan push-out windows hold open in several positions, with the mosquito net always in place. The only spot to avoid is where an open pane could be hit, such as the panel a sliding door moves over.
When do you need a sliding window?
You need a sliding window wherever an open pane would get in the way: behind a sliding side door, under a roof ladder or bike rack, or along a pavement. The pane slides inside the frame, stays flush with the bodywork and locks from the inside.
Choose the VanSlide+ for double glazing and a bright interior, the VanSlide for a dark tint, or the VanSlide Square for straight edges on a squared-off van.
Dark or light tint, single or double glazing?
Pick a dark tint if privacy matters most and a light grey tint if you want a bright van. Dark glazing lets in 30% of daylight and keeps the inside discreet; light grey lets in 70%, more than twice as much, which changes how a small van feels on a grey day.
Double glazing is worth it if you travel in cold weather: it means less cold and less condensation on the window. EuroVan windows use acrylic glazing, which is lighter than glass. Clean it with plenty of water and a soft cloth, never a dry wipe, as acrylic scratches more easily than glass.

What should come with a campervan window?
A complete campervan window should come with everything needed to fit and finish it. Every EuroVan window arrives with:
- a reinforced aluminium counter-frame that clamps the window to the wall;
- an interior finishing frame with blackout blind and mosquito net, which hides the edge of the cut-out;
- a full set of screws and a step-by-step fitting guide;
- the ECE R43 approval certificate.

What size campervan window do you need?
Choose the largest cut-out that fits the free area of your panel, between ribs, cables and conduit. The size of a EuroVan window is its cut-out, width × height: a 700 × 400 window needs an opening 700 mm wide and 400 mm high. The exterior frame is 30 mm larger on each axis.

Do these windows fit motorhomes and caravans too?
Yes. Every EuroVan window except the VanCurve fits flat walls from 25 to 75 mm thick, so it replaces a cracked or crazed window on a motorhome or caravan. Measure the existing cut-out and pick the same size: the exterior frame, 30 mm larger, covers the old edge.

Do you need a roof window as well?
A roof window is the best partner for side windows: warm air escapes through the highest point of the vehicle, so you get a real through-draught. Our roof windows come in standard cut-outs: 400 × 400 mm (the Mini Heki format), 700 × 500 mm (the Midi Heki format) and 960 × 655 mm (the Heki 2 format).
Models with permanent ventilation keep air moving even when closed, against condensation and as many approval bodies require.

Are campervan windows road legal and easy to fit?
