Every EuroVan window is delivered this way, except the VanLight window-only version: for that one, add our separate inner frame (white or black) or finish the opening with your own trim.

It is the interior finishing frame of the window, with a blackout blind and a mosquito net (fly screen) built into it. The pane and its aluminium counter-frame hold the window in the wall; the interior frame dresses the opening on the inside and carries both screens.
On a complete EuroVan window the box contains the window, the reinforced aluminium counter-frame, the interior frame with blind and mosquito net, a full set of screws and a step-by-step fitting guide. The interior frame sits proud of the wall and needs no extra room, so the cut-out size stays the same. You will find every model in our campervan windows collection.
Why does the integrated frame matter?
Because one frame does four jobs that would otherwise need four separate accessories, and it looks finished from day one.
- Total darkness at night: the blackout blind closes the window off completely, for early nights and lie-ins in summer.
- Fresh air without insects: the VanShade and VanLight open in three positions while the mosquito net stays in place.
- Privacy on demand: close the blind at a campsite or in a car park, with no covers to tape up.
- A clean finish: the frame hides the cut panel and the edge of your lining.
With both screens open you keep the full view and all the daylight the glazing lets in: 30% on dark-tinted models, 70% on light grey ones.
Integrated frame or curtains and stick-on covers?
The integrated frame wins on space, speed and finish. Curtains and cut-to-fit covers still work, but they add parts to store and fit every evening.

Dark or light tint: does the blind change the choice?
Yes, it makes the choice easier. At night the blackout blind gives total darkness whatever the tint, so you only choose the tint for daytime.
- Dark tint (30% light): VanShade, VanSquare, VanCurve, VanSlide and VanSlide Square. Daylight gets in and the inside stays discreet, so you rarely need the blind by day.
- Light grey tint (70% light): VanLight and VanSlide+. More than twice the daylight of a dark tint, which changes how a small van feels on a grey day. Close the blind when you want privacy.
Double glazing matters too: on every model except the single-glazed VanSlide, it means less cold and less condensation on the window. The VanSlide+ is the sliding option if you travel in winter.
Window only plus a separate inner frame: when does it make sense?
Choose the VanLight window-only version if you want to trim the opening with your own panels. It comes with its counter-frame and screws, but without blind, mosquito net or interior frame. It exists in 7 sizes.
You can add the blind and net later with our separate inner frame with blind and mosquito net, in white or black:
- Which size: the same as your window cut-out. A 700 × 400 window takes the 700 × 400 frame.
- Overall size: the frame is 80 mm larger in each direction (40 mm on every side), so it overlaps the lining. A 700 × 400 window gives a finished opening of 780 × 480 mm inside.
- Screens: a pleated blackout blind with light thermal insulation and a pleated mosquito net, usable on their own or joined with the magnetic catch and slid together.
- Fitting: four screws, one in each corner, into the lining or a light wooden batten. Suits walls from 24 to 74 mm.

How do you use the blind and fly screen day to day?
Use each screen on its own or both together. For air without insects, open the window and close the net. For a dark, private night, close the net and bring the blind down over it.
A little care keeps the mechanism smooth for years: slide the screens gently rather than snatching them, let them retract under control, and brush grit out of the tracks now and then. Spare parts for EuroVan windows remain available for 5 years.
Can you fit a window with blind and fly screen on a caravan or motorhome?
Yes. EuroVan windows (except the VanCurve, made for curved van walls) fit flat walls from 25 to 75 mm thick. On a used caravan or motorhome, measure the existing cut-out and choose the same cut-out size: the exterior frame is 30 mm larger on each axis and covers the old edge.

What should you check before ordering?
Five points, and you will get the right window with the right blind the first time.
- Cut-out size: the size on the product is the cut-out, width × height. Mark it on the panel and check that no rib, cable or conduit is in the way.
- Wall thickness: 25 to 75 mm, including your battens, or more with longer screws.
- Complete or window only: complete for a finished opening out of the box, window only if you trim the opening yourself.
- Inner frame colour: for a window-only version, the separate frame exists in white or black.
- Opening type: sliding behind a sliding door or under a ladder, push-out everywhere else.
Does the integrated frame make fitting harder?
No. The window goes in the usual way: cut the opening with a jigsaw, fit a wooden batten frame (25 mm minimum on a panel van), bed the window in Sikaflex 265 and screw the aluminium counter-frame from inside. The interior frame then finishes the opening. Plan about one hour per window and two people. Our fitting guide shows each step.

Do EuroVan windows come with a blind and fly screen?
Yes. Every EuroVan window is delivered with an interior frame, blackout blind and mosquito net, except the VanLight window-only version.
Can I add a blind and fly screen to a window bought without one?
Yes. Our separate inner frame with blind and mosquito net, in white or black, fits the window-only versions of our push windows. Order it in the same size as the window cut-out.
Can I use the blind and the fly screen at the same time?
Yes. Close the net, then bring the blind down over it. On the separate inner frame you can also join both with the magnetic catch and move them together.
Does the interior frame change the cut-out size?
No. The cut-out is the size shown on the product. The interior frame sits proud of the wall and needs no extra room.
Are these windows road legal?
Yes. EuroVan windows are ECE R43 approved, which is accepted in the UK (DVLA, MOT) and for conversion approval across Europe.
