Measure the existing cut-out (not the old frame), choose the same size, and keep the opening you already have.

How to replace a caravan window in 4 steps

Remove the interior frame and the old window.
Clean off all old sealant and degrease the wall.
Measure the cut-out (width × height) and order the same size: the new exterior frame is 30 mm larger on each axis and covers the old edge.
Bed the window in Sikaflex 265 and screw the counter-frame from inside.

Frequently asked questions

Can I replace a caravan window with a EuroVan window?
Yes, if you choose the same cut-out size and the wall is 25 to 75 mm thick. All EuroVan windows except the VanCurve (made for curved van walls) fit flat caravan and motorhome walls.

How do I measure a caravan window for replacement?
Remove the old window or check from inside and measure the opening in the wall, width × height. Do not measure the visible outer frame.

Do I need to change the roof light as well?
Only if it is damaged. Our roof windows exist in the standard 400 × 400, 700 × 500 and 960 × 655 mm cut-outs, so the opening stays the same.

Which sealant do I need?
Sikaflex 265 for windows, one tube per window. Our Sikaflex Window Kit adds Activator 205 and Primer 507 for the surfaces.
