Sliding or push window: which type do you need?
Choose a push window for maximum airflow, and a sliding window wherever nothing may stick out. A push window is hinged at the top: the whole pane opens outwards and stays open on stays. A sliding window has a pane that slides sideways inside the frame, so it stays flush with the bodywork.

What is the EuroVan alternative to a Seitz S4 window?
EuroVan is our own window range, available in both push and sliding versions, like the two S4 variants. Sizes are cut-out sizes (width × height). The exterior frame is 30 mm larger on each axis.
Whatever window you compare, check the same four points on the product page: the glazing approval, the cut-out size, the wall thickness the frame accepts and what is in the box. Which EuroVan push window should you choose?
Choose by tint and shape. The VanShade and VanSquare have a dark tint (30% light transmission) for privacy; the VanLight has a light grey tint (70%) for a bright interior. The VanSquare has square corners and the widest size range, up to 1570 × 575 mm, which suits motorhome and caravan walls.
For a panel van with curved side walls, the VanCurve has curved double glazing (5000 mm radius) that follows the wall. It is designed for campervans only.
Which EuroVan sliding window should you choose?
Choose the VanSlide+ for comfort, the VanSlide for privacy and the VanSlide Square for straight lines. All three stay flush with the bodywork and suit a sliding door, a spot under a roof ladder or the pavement side.
- VanSlide+: double glazing and a light grey tint, for less cold and less condensation, with a central lock.
- VanSlide: single glazing with a dark tint, lockable from the inside.
- VanSlide Square: double glazing, dark tint and square corners, made up to 1200 × 500 mm.
What comes with every EuroVan window?
Everything you need to fit and finish the window, apart from the sealant and battens. Each window (except the VanLight window-only version, which has no interior frame) is delivered with:
- a reinforced aluminium counter-frame for walls from 25 to 75 mm (extendable with longer screws);
- an interior finishing frame with blackout blind and mosquito net;
- a full set of screws and a step-by-step installation guide;
- ECE R43 approval, a 2-year warranty and spare parts available for 5 years.
Need a window without the interior frame, to use your own trim? The VanLight also exists as a window-only version, and the inner frame with blind and mosquito net is sold separately.
Can a EuroVan window replace an existing motorhome or caravan window?
Yes, if the cut-out size matches. EuroVan windows (except the VanCurve, made for curved van walls) fit flat walls from 25 to 75 mm thick. Measure the existing cut-out (width × height) and choose the same cut-out size in our range: the exterior frame is 30 mm larger on each axis and covers the old edge.
Match the shape too, so the new window looks right on the wall. The VanShade, VanLight, VanSlide and VanSlide+ have rounded corners; the VanSquare and VanSlide Square have square corners. If the old window was a push window, choose a push model; if it slid, choose a sliding model, and the way you use the window stays the same.

How do you fit a EuroVan window?
Every EuroVan window fits the same way, push or sliding. Cut the opening with a jigsaw, fit a wooden batten frame (25 mm minimum on a panel van), bed the window in Sikaflex 265 and screw the aluminium counter-frame from inside. Plan about one hour per window and two people.
On a van, any EuroVan window fits as long as its cut-out fits the free panel area between the ribs: up to 700 × 400 mm on an L1H1 side panel, 970 × 520 mm on an L2H2 and 1100 × 550 mm on an L3H3 or L4H3. Rear doors take up to 500 × 350 mm on an L1H1, and 500 × 450 mm (Master, Movano, NV400) or 500 × 520 mm (Ducato, Jumper, Boxer, Sprinter, Crafter) on larger vans.
