An LPG / butane gas connection, checked by a professional or with a gas leak detector

Frequently asked questions

Does the pump suit the tap?
Yes: it is a self-priming pump with a pressure switch, so it starts on its own when you open the tap.

Is it approved?
The hob is CE certified, with a thermocouple that cuts the gas if the flame goes out. For a conversion approval — e.g. VASP in France, TÜV in Germany, ITV in Spain, and equally in the UK and Switzerland — it is the vehicle's complete gas installation that is inspected, not the hob on its own.
