Frequently asked questions

What size is a standard campervan skylight?
The most common cut-out is 400 × 400 mm. Larger roof windows use 700 × 500 mm or 960 × 655 mm cut-outs.

Can I replace a Mini Heki, Midi Heki or Heki 2 format roof light?
Yes. Our roof windows exist in the 400 × 400 (Mini Heki format), 700 × 500 (Midi Heki format) and 960 × 655 mm (Heki 2 format) cut-outs, so the opening in the roof stays the same.

Do I need permanent ventilation?
Permanent ventilation helps against condensation and is often required for vehicle approval. The STYLE 40x40 exists with 100 cm² permanent ventilation.

Which sealant for a skylight?
Our Sikaflex skylight pack combines Sikaflex 552 AT and SikaLastomer 831E butyl tape for the ridges of corrugated roofs.
