Full description
The STYLE 40 × 40 is a roof window in double acrylic glazing for the most common cut-out on converted vans, with 100 cm² of permanent ventilation: air keeps flowing with the window closed. It mounts directly on flat and corrugated roofs. ECE R43 approved.
Choosing the right size and model
- The size shown is the cut-out size in the roof: 400 × 400 mm, the most common cut-out on converted vans.
- The frames overhang on each side: allow up to 130 mm more in width and 110 mm more in height for the interior frame. It stands 12 cm above the roof.
- Roof thickness: 28 to 70 mm, flat or corrugated.
- The warm-white 12/24 V LED inner frame is an option: it saves adding a separate ceiling light above the same opening.
Which version?
- With 100 cm² permanent ventilation (this page): air keeps flowing with the window closed, against condensation and for vehicle approval.
- Closing fully: the STYLE 40 × 40, for a conversion that already has its approval airflow elsewhere. Same window, same price.
- A 12 V fan in the same 400 × 400 mm cut-out: the EuroVan 40 × 40 or the VANVENT 3.0.
- A larger opening: the PANORAMA SLIM 3 LED.

Is it road legal?
Yes — ECE R43. It can be fitted without manufacturer approval and is accepted for conversion approval across Europe (e.g. VASP in France, TÜV in Germany, ITV in Spain), in the UK (DVLA, MOT) and in Switzerland (MFK).
What does the permanent ventilation change?
100 cm² of air keeps flowing with the window closed, which holds condensation down and meets what approval bodies usually ask for on a converted vehicle.
Will it fit my roof thickness?
