Frequently asked questions

Can it run on 230 V?
Not directly: it is a native 12/24 V fridge, which is what makes it efficient on a leisure battery. On a campsite socket or at home, plug it in through the 230V to 12V adapter.

Is it approved for a campervan conversion?
Yes — CE and ECE R10 (electromagnetic compatibility for vehicles), accepted for conversion approval in the UK (VCA) and across Europe (e.g. VASP, TÜV, ITV…), and Switzerland.

How much power does it draw?
About 35 W on average — close to 3 A on a 12 V circuit, or roughly 70 Ah over a full day. The 66 W on the label is the compressor's maximum, reached only while it pulls the cabinet down to temperature.

Will it fit under a worktop?
Yes: the cabinet is only 63 cm high, the shortest in the BCD line at this capacity.
